The Mary House After School Program
Mary House has run its free After School Program since 1997. Serving up to thirty elementary-aged students at a time, we have a strong partnership with schools in the neighborhood that allows us to pick the children up from school and walk them to our site. Many of the students we work with live in homes where English is not the primary spoken language, so we work with children to improve their reading, writing and comprehension skills.
We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids can eat a healthy snack, bond with other children living at Mary House, and complete their homework.
Note: Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the After School Program will not reopen until January of 2021.The Mary House Summer Camp
The Mary House Summer Camp is a full-day summer camp for kids who live at Mary House. Our staff organizes different themes, games, and activities each week to provide an engaging, enriching summer camp experience. This year's summer camp will be virtual and will occur during the month of July.
