Interested in Working at Mary House?

Mary House accepts applications for up to three Americorps positions between the months of May and July. All staff members serve as caseworkers for about 15 families each, but also has an additional support service component that they provide to the program. There is an Education and After School Program Coordinator, a Food and Resource Program Coordinator, and a Communications and Administration Coordinator. Staff members spend part of their day serving as family advocates through casework, part of their day working on their respective support service component, and part of their day delivering food to Mary House families.

Due to the nature of Americorps, staff members serve from the beginning of September until the end of the following July. All interested parties must have a Bachelor's Degree and have professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish. Knowledge of Amharic or Tigrinya is a plus. If you have any questions or would like a complete job description, feel free to reach out to us at maryhousevolunteers@gmail.com. If you are interested in applying, please email a resume and cover letter to Sharon Murphy at casademary@aol.com. Thanks so much for your interest and support of Mary House!
